We ended 2025 on a strong note – with a long-awaited premiere!
On December 31, the album “Wajnberg, Laks | Piano Quintets” by Messages Quartet & Julia Kociuban was released to our listeners, offering an opportunity to begin the New Year with classical music. The album presents a unique juxtaposition of piano quintets by Mieczysław Weinberg and Szymon Laks, combined with our musical sensitivity and emotional interpretation.
The album is built on clear contrasts – colorful and warm, full of expression, yet at times dark. It can be read as a conversation between the two composers about the meaning of music, but also about extreme experiences and lives marked by history. Through this, the album gains a deep, emotional and timeless dimension.
